Excellent article. But the only way to assail the unassaillable is for mass movements like socialist/union movements of the last half of the 19th and first half of the 20th century. The unassaillable corporations have entrenched themselves in their positions having learned from the defeats by the masses. They have bought up the medias, corporatized almost every aspect of society using 'free market' principles. In short, they've created a mass of humanity that is like a frog in a pot of water over a flame. We'll just sit in the ever increasing temperature until we are boiled alive. As planned they have turned us into consumers who value the ephemeral over sustainability.
In every aspect of our society the corporations blame the people for wanting only what the corporations sell them. As you say, they will not go quietly into that good night. They will lie, kill, steal, cheat and dehumanize themselves until they possess nothing redeemable and then still crave for profits.
