The problem facing the US and the rest of the world probably is ”spiritual” at its core; however, I believe the most pressing symptom of the problem is economic in nature.

In the US 97% of our currency is created by private for-profit banks and loaned into circulation at interest. Since private for-profit banks have shareholders and executives demanding high rates of compensation, interest rates have to be much higher than if the state itself spent new money into circulation.

The US state of North Dakota came to this conclusion in 1919 and started doing business as The State Bank of North Dakota. Currently North Dakota is the only state in the Union with a sizable budget surplus, and it’s adding jobs instead of losing them.

Hi friends, Its just my thoughts, but does anybody else also think, that, these problems facing the US and the rest the world, are not political, social, economic or commerce BUT spiritual. We all are trying so hard to solve them on all the other level, except the level it is on.
Its easy to see that some rich people/banks are controlling all this wealth. I know and can see, that the money is not very functional, because this world as we know have, its been set up, runs entirly on money and over 80% people haven’t got any. Even if we fix this problem and distributed all the money to people equally, still this whole game will be played the same way, don’t you think?
The way we have all this set up in our society on this entire planet, Is first we must DO ( jobs, work or whatever) then we can have( with the money we make, a house, a boat or whatever) and then we can BE ( whatever,whoever we wanted to be before we started to do and have). I think we are not human doings, we are human beings first. I think when we remember to BE ( happy, content, peaceful,or whatever) then whatever flows out of that state of being, will also be quality. For one we won’t be creating a lot of rubbish, it is this too much DOING got us in the trouble in the first place, we are turning this beautiful home into a rubbish dump. I could be wrong of course, only thinking loudly.

I’m also grateful I found this site. I’m hoping to explore options for political change that transcend the ”differences” between the Republican and Democratic parties: I think both Republicans and Democrats have outlived their usefulness to this republic.
